The Sefaria Library: Jewish Texts Online

The Sefaria Library is a developing online collection of Jewish texts, in Hebrew/Aramiac and English translation (in progress).

Thus far, Sefaria includes the following:

• The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) and Targums (English in Tanakh)
• The Mishnah (with English)
• The Talmud (English in Babylonian/Bavli)
• Midrash
• Halakhah

Codex Leningrad – Unicode/XML Version from Westminster Bible Institute

The Westminster Bible Institute provides an XML encoding of the Westminster Leningrad Codex, the earliest complete text of the Hebrew Bible.

The text is searchable online, and also available for download in various formats, such as pdf.

In addition, when viewing the Pentateuch, the website provides the option of displaying each of the Pentateuchal sources (J, E, D, P, and R) by colour, according to Richard Elliott Friedman’s rendition of the Documentary Hypothesis.

Aleppo Codex Online

The extant parts of the Aleppo Codex, the oldest of the Hebrew codices of the Tanach/Old Testament, have been made available for online viewing by the Ben-Zvi Institute, Jerusalem.
